My multi-media presentation “101 Mistakes Writers Make About Crime” is available for your writer’s conference. Whether your group is geared toward mystery or romance, accuracy and factual police, crime scene and forensic science details are a must. The presentation is a minimum of 2 hours long, but can be structured for much longer and broken into sections, packed with over 800 images of every type of crime from actual criminal investigations I have responded to in my career.
Unlike some forensic writing consultants, I do not buy or copy crime scene images. I can personally speak about each scene because I have been behind the crime scene tape, and have taken the photographs you’ll see in the presentation.
From bullet wounds to decomposed bodies and everything in between, you will get the insider’s view of forensics, crime scene investigation, and everything in-between. You’ll experience the REAL deal, not television’s fictional glamorized version. Packed with many “Whodunits” for your group to solve at the end, it is a lively, interactive presentation – and I leave plenty of time for your member’s questions both during and after the presentation. You will come away armed with unique facts and knowledge that will give you the competitive edge to get your book noticed.
Alittle tip: you may want to eat only a very light meal before the presentation, otherwise you may see it again.

EDITING/CREATIVE CONTENT
Do you have a work in progress or a finished manuscript, screenplay or outline that you would like reviewed for accuracy in content with regard to criminal investigations, police procedural, forensics, criminal profiling, police investigations and interrogation and all matters related to law enforcement, victims, witnesses, and suspects? I offer a professional consulting service with a quick turnaround so that you can get to your killer ending quickly. I can assure you of complete confidentiality to protect your project, and offer a written “Confidentiality Statement & Agreement.”
CRIMINAL PROFILING (Law EnforcementAgencies Only)
I can provide written criminal profiles for your law enforcement agency on a completely confidential basis. The criminal profile will necessitate the agency requesting the profile to provide all reports, documents, photographs, laboratory requests, statements (written/audio/video), laboratory request results, letters, autopsy reports, telephone logs, and any and all information obtained by the agency so as to render an accurate criminal profile. Using the deductive method of profiling, it will cover the three major areas of victimology, crime scene reconstruction, and crime scene characteristics/wound pattern analysis.
